WARANGAL: Enraged Telangana activists and JAC members gheraoed the DIG office at Subedari area in Hanamkonda on Friday demanding the immediate suspension of Kazipet Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Venkatram Narsaiah. He is under cloud for allegedly beating up students when they laid a siege to IT minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah's residence in the town three days ago.
Protesting against the DSP's action on the students, TRS, BJP, CPI(ML) New Democracy, advocates and students JAC shouted slogans against police and Congress.
